Ask Maya a questionWho is Clarity Psychiatry designed for?
Clarity Psychiatry provides routine voluntary outpatient psychiatric care by telehealth for adults ages 18–65 who are physically located in Arizona at the time of care. Some urgent, medically complex, or higher-acuity situations may require in-person or higher-level care.
Do I need a referral to schedule?
No. Patients may schedule directly. Professional referral sources can also send a referral and records through healthcare Direct Messaging or secure fax.
How much do visits cost?
Current private-pay fees are $250 for a 60-minute new patient evaluation, $325 for a 90-minute extended evaluation, $150 for a 30-minute follow-up, and $195 for a 45-minute extended follow-up.
Do you accept insurance?
Clarity Psychiatry is a private-pay practice and does not submit insurance claims. If available, a superbill may be provided for possible out-of-network reimbursement; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
What happens during the first visit?
The first visit is a psychiatric evaluation designed to understand symptoms in context, review relevant history and safety, discuss a working diagnostic formulation, and develop an initial treatment plan collaboratively. You do not need to explain everything perfectly.
Should I choose 60 or 90 minutes?
The 60-minute comprehensive evaluation is the usual starting point. The 90-minute option provides extra time when you prefer not to feel rushed or when there is a complex history, substantial records, diagnostic uncertainty, or multiple active issues.
How does telehealth work?
Visits are conducted by secure video. You should be in a private space, physically located in Arizona, and use a device with camera, microphone, and stable internet. You may be asked to confirm your current location and an emergency contact.
Can Clarity Psychiatry prescribe controlled medications?
No prescription or particular medication is promised by scheduling or completing an appointment. Prescribing depends on diagnosis, clinical indication, risks and benefits, monitoring requirements, identity and location verification, professional judgment, and current law. An in-person assessment may sometimes be required.
How do I send records?
Patients should use the secure clinical workflow. Referral sources can use healthcare Direct Messaging or the secure fax listed on the referral page. Do not send protected health information through ordinary consumer email.
What does Maya collect?
Maya is a virtual scheduling assistant that uses prewritten choices. The website version does not ask you to type symptoms, diagnoses, medication lists, or other health information and does not store assistant choices in cookies or local storage.
What if I need urgent psychiatric help?
Clarity Psychiatry is not an emergency service. If there may be immediate danger or a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
How do established patients access care?
Established patients can use Maya to choose a 30- or 45-minute follow-up and use the CharmHealth portal for clinical messages, forms, records, appointment details, and telemedicine access.
