Services
Focused psychiatric care, with room to think.
Clarity Psychiatry provides voluntary outpatient care by telehealth for adults physically located in Arizona at the time of the visit.
01Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
A detailed review of current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, substance use, sleep, trauma and psychosocial context, prior treatment, risk, and functioning.
The visit is designed to produce a working diagnostic formulation and a practical initial treatment plan.
02Diagnostic clarification
For patients whose symptoms overlap, whose diagnosis has changed over time, or whose response to treatment has raised new questions. Evaluation may consider medical contributors, medication effects, substance-related factors, trauma, personality patterns, and sleep.
03Medication management
Ongoing medication treatment with attention to benefits, adverse effects, interactions, adherence, safety, laboratory monitoring, and whether a medication still fits the working diagnosis and treatment goals.
04Laboratory monitoring & coordination
When clinically appropriate, care may include laboratory orders, review of results, coordination with primary care or specialists, and referrals for psychotherapy, testing, or a higher level of care.
05Post-crisis stabilization
Follow-up after emergency, observation, crisis, or inpatient treatment may be appropriate once the patient is stable for routine voluntary outpatient care. Clarity Psychiatry is not a crisis program and cannot substitute for emergency services.
06Substance-related assessment
Assessment and evidence-based treatment of substance-related conditions may be provided within the clinician’s scope, practice capabilities, and current federal and Arizona law. Medication treatment, including controlled medications, is never guaranteed.
Clinical boundaries
Some needs require in-person or higher-level care.
Telehealth may not be appropriate for imminent danger to self or others, severe intoxication or withdrawal, unstable medical conditions, severe impairment that prevents safe outpatient participation, or other needs that cannot be managed safely in this setting.
When needed, Clarity Psychiatry may recommend emergency evaluation, in-person examination, primary care or specialty assessment, psychotherapy, psychological testing, intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization, residential treatment, or inpatient care.
